AUPE's behaviour on the picket line was aggressive from the start. On the first day of the strike, Artspace members found their home swarmed with strange people yelling at them, harassing them, refusing to back off when told "no", etc.
The person who sent this in had been approached and hassled while trying to get to her vehicle. In witness statements submitted for that day, it describes what happened more fully. It is also the earliest documentation of picketers jumping in front of moving vehicles and trying to make it look like they had been hit, while they themselves strike the vehicle in question.
