Remember, every single one of those people simply showed up in our neighbourhood for a street party.
At our private homes.
Without our permission.
Again.
Then they had the nerve to claim it was all quiet and peaceful, while our own members were assaulted by the noise and felt trapped in their homes.
A question for all those people in the picture.
How many of you have any idea that this community has members who were harmed by your actions?
How many of you care that your sudden invasion of our community lead to anxiety attacks, increased pain and stress?
How many of you realise that people were medically harmed by the noise levels outside their homes?
How many of you would like it if a sudden crowd of loud, boisterous people - some of whom have harassed, intimidated and threatened you and/or your neighbours, for months - showed up outside your door, screaming, yelling, chanting, singing, playing loud music and having a big ole party, taking pleasure in the pain and discomfort they were causing you and your family?
Because that's what you were doing.
Maybe you thought this was some great party; all rah-rah, solidarity and sticking it to the man.
Well, this is who you invaded. This is who you targeted. This is who you hurt. These are the big bad union busters AUPE claims is trying to take them down.
Congratulations, AUPE and supporters who invaded our homes on Saturday.
You've contributed to AUPE's bullying and abuse of an entire neighbourhood.
You even brought your kids along to take part.
AUPE picketers like to scream out "shame" at us, here in Artspace.
The people who really ought to be ashamed wear the faces you see in the mirror.
