Tents and luring children

On one particular day, the picketers decided to set up a gazebo-style tent, partly on the sidewalk, partly on our private property.

Of course, putting up things like tents on sidewalks requires a permit - and permission.  They had neither.

Thankfully, it did not stay up long, however...

Submitted June 1:

So the tent seemed to come down.  Not sure when (I had head phones on).
But the yelling continues.
There was a small discussion between - their - D___ and ________  2:30ish today.
Meanwhile, guests visiting got an earful.  4 kids were offered 'ice cream.'
Bribing kids with ice cream - taking candy offered by a stranger.
Especially when the kids had to go over to the van to get the ice cream.
Doesn't that sound suspiciously like the scenarios we teach kids to keep away from sexual predators.
Or the plot line of sooooo many crime shows on TV these days.
And, no, I am not suggesting any of the strikers are sexual predators.
They just reinforce that it is ok to take something from a stranger.
Bullied into taking sweets.  And then they say they just want to be friends.
